When looking for a home to celebrate my sister's birthday I saw this one and looked no further! The home and location are so beautiful! The property is so peaceful..we enjoyed the Fire pit, walks on the beach and sitting on the upstairs porch.
I would like to return next year for a stay!

Great views, beautiful light, stocked kitchen, comfortable spaces, plenty of room for our whole family. Loved being right on the water!

Lovely home for a retreat. The view and beach access can’t be beat! Very quiet and peaceful.

Great views of the Puget Sound, very quiet area. Virtually every room has sensational views of the water. Home is nice and has most of not all things you'll need to cook (Propane grill outside). Close drive to marina - we rented a boat for a couple hours. Great stay, great location. Port Ludlow golf course has astounding views. Some toys and board games provided to keep all entertained after a long day. Highly recommend this rental; we plan to stay again sometime.

The location was beautiful and we loved all of the things were we’re able to view right from the living room and deck. The kitchen and living spaces are very good sized but it could use a few updates or TLC to a few items but overall I would definitely rent this home again

It is was good stay there bit there was little things that was forgotten. Also there was a delay in the fixing. They are on top of responding to the problems.

We had a nice get away for 6 of us. Great views and beach access.

The view is great and the couches and living areas are cozy and inviting. Great house for entertaining or for a reunion or wedding event. It feels like a house that is no longer lived in properly and doesn't have that authentic home feel. We would stay there again but with lower expectations. Bring your own board games. Hard to play Yahtzee with two dice.
The house is quite large and has many beds. The toilets flushed adequately most of the time. Lots of light bulbs were burned out. A smoke detector started beeping in the night. Luckily it wasn't one on the vaulted ceiling. Beds are thin and hard and seem to be some sort of memory foam. Not plush at all but not entirely uncomfortable. Random rubbish scattered around the exterior. Unsecured hand railing for the beach stairs. No colander. Outdated and small/short sink faucets. A number of deferred maintenance issues. No garage access.
Manager response:
We're glad you stayed with us, Brian. The property manager will be inspecting the games after receiving your feedback to determine if any need to be removed. Lights are checked between each guest, and additional light bulbs are kept on-site in case guests find themselves in need during their stay. The landscape crew keeps the exterior groomed, but occasional debris does get blown in with the beach breeze. A colander will be stocked, and we will check the handrail. Thank you so much for such helpful feedback. We hope to see you again!

This is a spacious, comfortable and clean house right on the water with spectacular views of Hood Canal. The second living area and bedrooms in the walkout bottom floor provide extra privacy for family members of all ages.
We enjoyed peaceful, crowd free daily beach walks; spotting great blue herons, kingfishers and sea otters.
There was even a family of river otters playing in the wetlands next to the house.

We vacationed for a week in August at this house with my parents and my son. We had plenty of room in this 4 bedroom house. The views from the living room and the family room are great. We all said that we would definitely consider coming back to this property (the third we rented this summer and the 6th this year).

The foosball table was a big hit with my son. The property is well kept inside and out, beach access is easy. There is not much of a sandy beach, just a thin strip. We were there during a week with some exceptionally low and high tides, which made for some fun beach combing (moon snail shells!). The house gets a great breeze, has good cross ventilation, but as we also were there during a particularly warm spell the main (upper) level of the house did get pretty warm but there were fans. The appliances in the kitchen all worked, and since the house is reasonably far (at least 15 minutes to the closest) from restaurants in Port Ludlow, Port Gamble, and Port Hadlock/Irondale/Chimacum, we were able to easily prepare meals. There were 3 reasonably sharp knives, which is -- from my experience -- something worth noting. Noticeably missing was a baking sheet. The only other thing I would note is that one of the downstairs bedrooms did not seem to have a lamp or light other than the light in the closet.

Given that Washington State summers now seem to include at least some period of excessive heat and some period of poor air quality, it would probably be advisable for rental properties to invest in providing some kind of air filter.

Also worth noting: a question emailed to the owners about operating the electric shades was promptly returned. For other renters: the remote control for the electric shades is on the wall above the fireplace next to the Ring device.

We loved this property! Great view, clean and spacious home. We met some of the neighbors and they were nice. Our kids loved the house since it had so much space, swings, activity table and a great backyard area. An easy drive into Port Ludlow but such a quiet spot. Nice beach to look for shells and look out onto the water.

We really enjoyed our 8 day stay here in this beautiful home. We felt that it would have been a little more enjoyable with kayaks and/or paddleboards. WE noticed there was a kayak in the garage but the garage was locked and had no access.. The neighbors down the street offered to let us use their kayaks and that was awesome and we were very appreciative. Also it got warm in the house there were a few small fans but a couple nights it was very humid and hard to sleep.

When we got there we thought there was no silverware however 2nd day when we went to load dishwasher there were dishes in there and they were dirty so we had to start dishwasher and than we had silverware. Also when we went to do laundry there was a full load of sheets and towels in the washing machine which we put in the dryer and than just put them in a laundry basket. It seemed weird that the housecleaner forgot to take care of them.

One other small detail is a couple of the rooms (including master) only had sheer curtains so we were awake at sunrise. It was fine with me but my young grandkids should have slept longer.

Also there was no pizza pan or blender.

We would definitely stay there again and be a bit more prepared. I hope this helps.

This was a great house with a lot of space. Loved shelling on the beach in the mornings and the fire pit in the evenings. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We had a great time on our vacation!

View from the home was incredible. The house was also very well 'toddler' proofed which made for an enjoyable stay.

Perfect location on a corner lot abutting the canal. Large daylight basement home with stunning vaulted ceiling, wall of glass facing east. Spacious kitchen with two refrigerators. Subtracted a star because of lack of window coverings in the living room and daylight basement. The living room with the wall of east facing glass becomes an unusable hot house until midday, with temperatures of up to 80º in early April. Still, would return for a future stay.

Our stay was perfect for a bit of remote work & schooling. WiFi worked throughout (also, there is an Amazon Echo Show upstairs, and downstairs there is an Amazon box/remote on the TV). The beach access during low tides was fun to explore, just note there is a private nature reserve next door. Saw lots of wildlife (a sea otter & tons of birds), and a couple submarines came in/out of the canal (most likely to/from Bangor Naval Base). Yes, there were some ants here and there, but they did not ruin our stay—a few ant traps were left in places, and found some extras available in the garage. The downstairs family room has a tv, mini-fridge, 3-in-1 (foosball, hockey, pool) table, several games & some books. There is a basketball and sand shovel/bucket for the beach in the garage, which was large enough for my small p/u truck with bike rack. We rode our bikes down the neighborhood street, and all were friendly waving to us—there is even a little free library stand along the way. The kitchen is pretty well stocked with essentials (plates, mugs, cutlery, pots/pans)—coffee maker, ice maker, stove top & ovens we used daily. As for cleanliness, it was good, but during Covid times we had already committed to bringing a bunch of wipes to clean surfaces as an extra precaution. Used the broom provided to keep the entry and kitchen floors swept, but couldn’t find a dustpan. Recommend day trips to Poulsbo and the Shine Tidelands State Park.

This home exceeded our expectations in so many ways. We were able to enjoy a quite location on the water with amazing waterfront and sunrise views on Hood Canal. The house was very clean. Can’t wait to visit again.
