THINGS TO KNOW
*Construction due to Hurricane Sally repairs is ongoing at the complex. The availability of amenities is subject to the repairs at the time. The elevators are also expecting repairs and may be unavailable intermittently.
Construction begins at 7 am and continues until 5:30 pm with heavy machinery and noise.
Building renovations are currently ongoing at Pelican Pointe and are scheduled to last through October. These renovations include concrete work and balcony railing replacement and involve worker activity, swing scaffolding, and periodic restricted balcony access. In addition, the outdoor pool is scheduled to be closed for the entire month of August.
Due to construction, parking at Pelican Pointe is currently limited to one vehicle per unit. Passes must be purchased on-site through the Security Guard at Pelican Pointe. Parking passes are $30/each (price may be higher for renters staying longer than 30 days) and can be paid via cash or check to the Security Guard. A guard will be available at the shack between the hours of 8 am until midnight during the busy season and 4 pm to midnight in the off season. Thank you!

Absent a small hiccup on arrival where we had to source our own pillow cases (housekeeping must’ve gotten ahead of themselves!), we had a great getaway at this condo. We were reluctant at first knowing it was a 10th floor unit but quickly learned the benefits— better water views and above the poolside noise but where you can still hear the waves crashing ashore. Very comfortable and well-appointed condo whether you’re staying a long weekend or a month.

Location - great. However the condo that we received instead of our original one that was chosen was no where near what we originally chose. The condo was outdated, only one vehicle could park in the pelican pointe lot - when you have a condo that sleeps 10 that is just outlandish to ask people to only park one vehicle. The condo also smelled like urine and the dryer took 3 cycles to even dry anything. When we explained that to pelican pointe they said they would be getting us more towels first thing in the morning & look at the dryer - apparently 1st thing in the morning is 4pm in the afternoon. All in all it was nothing like we asked for but it was on the beach and had a big enough living area and balcony and our family made the most of what we were given.

When I booked, it stated 2 cars allowed on the property. But due to construction from the damage of Hurricane Sandy last year, only 1 car was allowed when I arrived. No place to park the other car and it got towed. I texted and called several times, everyone was nice and professional but couldn`t do anything. This required immediate attention and it wasn`t until the next day after the car was towed that I received word. I am NOT happy with the amount of restitution that was offered. The amenity section is now updated to reflect only one car, but that doesn`t help me now.

This was our first time renting from TurnKey. We had a great time. I have to say Turnkey’s customer service is amazing. I felt like we had someone helping us along the way from the time we booked months in advance until the time we checked out. We had a few issues that I needed assistance with and one text to the number provided and the issues were taken care of. One issue was one of the showers wouldn’t turn on. The maintenance man was there the next morning to fix it. The condo was very clean and well kept. We loved the beautiful view from the 10th floor. The other residents were very friendly. The location was great. One thing that wasn’t mentioned in the rental info. was the beach chair rentals. I found out you could reserve them for a day at a time or for the week. The rental fee is $35 per day. That information may be helpful to include. Overall, we had a great vacation and made lots of memories. I would say to other renters to check for things you need before making a trip to the grocery store. We should have checked first and ended up buying things that were already provided and not buying things we actually needed. I would highly recommend this condo and I would definitely recommend using Turnkey.

Family had a good time. the weather was excellent. Very close to beach. However the bathrooms were very small and one of the beds in the room with 2 queens was very squeaky. Condo sure could use some updates. There was one very comfortable lounge chair, which I wish were In more condos.
