Creek is nice close to Bryson City for groceries and nice downtown

House was clean and we were surprised to find a 5th bedroom even though it was listed as 4, but downsides were that it is right on top of a busy road, and road noise and safety was a concern. Also, only one door in and out through the front(roadside). The last complaint is that even though the house is river front, there isn't a great place to sit and enjoy it-no porch on riverside and no access to the river because it is such a steep drop and the road noise is so bad, you can't even really hear the river. We had a large group, and the house was a good size to accommodate all of us, but I don't think we will stay here again because of all the cons.
Manager response:
Hi Kelly! Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay, overall. We apologize for any issues you encountered regarding road noise, the door, and no porch during your visit. To clarify, we provide photos, a unit description, a list of available amenities, and a virtual tour option, which provides an in-depth look at the home's specific layout and design, so that future guests know exactly what they will see upon arrival. Additionally, the location of this property does also bring some added noise, and we're sorry for any noise disruptions this caused you during your stay. Please know that our guests health and safety is our priority, we have forwarded your feedback to our local management team to review and discuss to improve this home for future guests. We appreciate your feedback and hope to have the opportunity to host you for a more comfortable and carefree stay in the future.

I'll start with the positives, the house is newly remodeled, clean, comfy beds, and had plenty of bathroom and cleaning supplies. The negatives, upon arrival there was a busted window poorly "covered", the house smells damp (it's a very old home next to a creek), the grill was covered in slimy mold, still needs a few kitchen product like mixing bowls, one of the toilets shifts a bit, internet is very slow, and the owner did not return a single call.
Manager response:
Audrey, thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. We're so pleased you found our home comfy and well-appointed. That being said, we apologize for the issues you experienced that detracted from your stay. Our maintenance team placed a board on the window until the glass replacement company was able to install the new one and we're sorry for any inconvenience. We also regret any cleaning details that were missed and have shared your comments with housekeeping. Internet in the mountains, especially in the more remote areas, can be slow and we apologize for this and any disconnect in communication you experienced with our team. We hope you will give us another chance to better impress you in the future.
