Excellent location - peaceful cool cabin nestled in the tall trees right on Rest Lake. We were visiting during the really warm weather in July and the ceiling fans kept the cabin nice and cool at night. Bed was firm and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and cabin was a great base for me and my husband. We rode our bikes on the paved trails to Boulder junction and Mercer. We love Manitowish waters and the restaurants in the area did not disappoint. We went to the Aberdeen Inn, Blue Bayou and Meggie’s and had wonderful food. We had everything we needed for a great week in the Northwoods - highly recommend Carols Rest lake cabin.

The lake was private and we found ourselves the only ones on the lake for two days. Only saw two boats on the water over 3 days. Very hard to find that in peak months. Plenty of fish right from the pier if you have young ones who get bored waiting to catch something. No problem catching fish. The water was what you would think of for an "up north" Wisconsin lake. The only thing I would make aware of is if your going in the hot months the house gets very warm. We had a portable a/c unit, so it wasn't that bad for us. The house was a little difficult to find, all gravel narrow roads. All in all due to the lack of other people around it was great.

This is a beautiful condo with nice furnishings and a rustic feel. It was very clean. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Really nice view off the deck. The kitchen was well stocked.
