This three-story beach house in Newport Beach is the perfect family vacation home and features an ocean view! Revel in quality time together, as well as a full kitchen, a furnished deck, and easy beach and bike trail access at the end of the street. And with only two houses between you and the sand and famous Newport Beach three-mile boardwalk, life doesn't get much better than this!
This ideal location, which some consider to be the best spot after Peninsula Point, is nestled between two piers on a beach that's frequently low on crowds. A playground on the sand is a mere two blocks away, and with beach and bay access so near, outdoor activities abound. Do some canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, jet skiing, bike riding (either cruiser, tandem or four-seater paddle surrey), skateboarding, surfing, fishing off both piers, or learn to sail. Bring your own equipment or rent from multiple locations on the peninsula or Balboa Fun Zone, which boasts a Ferris wheel, game arcade, restaurants, and jet skiing. Or captain your own electric boat and cruise the bay by renting from Duffy Boats, just a short drive across the bay.
Walk to either pier to explore restaurants and shops and treat yourself to a breakfast or ice cream at the end of the Balboa Pier at Ruby's Diner. Book a tour of the bay and go whale watching or take dinner cruises. Take the ferry to Balboa Island and explore Marine Avenue with their delightful restaurants and unique shops. During the summer months, if you do not wish to walk along the boardwalk, please take the Balboa Trolley, which cruises from Hoag Hospital to the Balboa Village. Your stop will be directly in front of your vacation home. Couldn't be more convenient! Also, remember that Disneyland, California Adventure, Angel Stadium, Honda Civic Center are all a reasonable drive away.
This home has a light, bright, airy interior full of sea breezes enhanced by specially designed windows. Two communal living spaces are available. One is on the first floor and includes the kitchen, den/bedroom, family room, and dining room. The second is the entire third floor, which has living room, dining area, built-in wine cooler, half bath, and furnished deck.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender, electric hot water kettle, oven, gas stove top, and dishwasher, as well as enough cookware to prepare a holiday feast. The first floor accommodates 10 for dining, while the third floor accommodates nine. There is an outdoor shower to wash away the sand after your afternoon on the beach, and other amenities include a private washer and dryer and free WiFi. Enjoy the perfect beach life in your home away from home.
