Very nice house and location. The hot tub did not heat up. the ignition switch on the gas logs did not work, and the instructions for the dishwasher are not up to date.

The dishwasher is new, and the provided instructions have been verified to be accurate. Please do not hesitate to reach out for assistance during your stay. We hope to see you soon!

We loved this home. SO very clean. Views are endless. The outdoor spa was just right, fire pit for s'mores, etc, lots of space and kitchen had all the ideal furnishings for cooking. Perfect stay.

We loved everything about our stay at Bear Cove, except for the noisy workmen right next to us trimming trees. This is certainly no fault of the owners. The cabin was very clean and comfortably decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. We are already looking at the calendar to see when we can return!

Nice front porch with beautiful views of the mountains. Conveniently located to Bryson City, Cherokee, Sylva, Asheville, National Park, waterfalls and more. Be sure to check out Jimmy’s Produce right down the street for some fresh fruits, veggies, jams, and more.

We loved our stay at Bear Cove because it was clean and beautifully decorated. The location is beautiful too. The neighborhood was quite and close to everything. The house has everything you need in order to pass a few days of peaceful rest or days of adventure through the numerous activities available in the neighboring Smoky Mountain National Park. We loved our stay and wish to return soon.

We liked the house, it was clean and comfortable. Good views and seemed like a good neighborhood. The driveway was a little steep and a hard turn to get into. The only complaint was the hot tub was not as clean as we would have liked. We booked a 7 day stay so I think they should have sent someone out to treat the hot tub in the middle of our stay.
Manager response:
Hello, Jonathan! Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We apologize that the hot tub was not as clean this is not the high standard of guest satisfaction that we hold ourselves too. We have notified our local management team of your feedback. We do hope you will give us another chance to impress you in the future.

We celebrated our honeymoon at Bear Cove. It was our first trip to the mountains and we enjoyed every minute. The cabin is located close to a couple of small towns within a 10-15 minute drive. The only thing we had an issue with was the driveway. You have to make a wide turn on to the road leading to the driveway and then attempt to make an immediate sharp turn into the driveway. It makes it really difficult if you are driving a truck because there is not much room to swing out to make the turn. It took us a couple of days to figure out how to successfully make it up the driveway without loosing traction and spinning the tires of the truck.

This cabin was perfect for two couples. It is conveniently located to everything we wanted to do. The guys rode motorcycles. The ladies visited Biltmore and enjoyed tons of antique shopping. We will definitely be back!

Loved the days we spent at Bear Cove....the cabin was wonderful and the views breathtaking!

This was a really great house for two couples. We also had a seven month old which always proves to make things a little more complicated but the house still worked for us. The bedrooms are huge with plenty of space for a pack n play or any sort of portable crib. The appliances worked very well (once we got the dishwasher fixed) and there were plenty of dishes and cookware. The WiFi and TV’s worked well. The WiFi was slow at times which was to be expected. We lost power twice due to storms but it came back on quickly and there was a generator that automatically turned on. The view was a little more obstructed by close trees than we expected but we still got great use out of the huge deck. The driveway is very short and steep but paved and doable for most any vehicle. The cabin is very close to many nearby cities; Cherokee, Sylva, Dillsboro and Bryson City were all about a 15 minute drive.

Clean, feels new, very nice. Was perfect for our family of four. The Jacuzzi was great. If use or nice. And you’re about 15 minutes from Whitewater rafting, waterfalls, Cherokee, and other sites. Would definitely recommend and would consider staying here again. Thank you!

My family and I fell in love with this home and the views were breathtaking! Perfect location and very easy to get to. The only vacation rental I have stayed in where the beds were as comfortable as home! I would definitely recommend this rental!
