The location

This was a great spot to gather my family from opposite ends of the country. The 4 bedrooms and the sofa bed nicely accommodated 1 Grandma, 6 adults, and 3 school aged youngsters. We loved the kitchen and the large dining table. It was great to find a nice variety of seasonings and staple items to share. Deer wandered through the yard almost every morning and evening. The young people enjoyed the trail up to Peak 8, and Grandma appreciated the shuttle bus that stopped just a few yards from the door. There was room to spread out and relax, with varied activity zones, and a wonderful gathering space for meals and intense domino games. We hope to come again soon.

Our family of four and two of our kids’ friends had a great weekend in this home. Multiple bedrooms, tv’s and living room spaces gave everyone the ability to relax and unwind –especially the four teenagers. We hiked up Peak Eight from the Nordic trail behind the house one afternoon. Great kitchen for cooking and we loved watching the stars at night from the hot tub.

My husband and I have stayed at this home twice. It is very lovely, full of charming alpine decor but by far the best part is the views and how close you are to the trails. The home backs up to the Nordic center and being able to walk straight out onto the hiking trails is wonderful. We saw a moose on the drive up to the house in July and wildlife is abundant. It’s a very relaxing and wonderful place to stay.
