We had a wonderful stay! Located close to all that Capitol Hill has to offer. Nice, clean, relaxed place to come back to after exploring city all day - highly recommend!
To be honest after reading a review from someone prior to staying here I thought it was going to be too small for the six of us but it was not. This place is so convenient and perfect for six.
The apartment was in a great location. Handy to shops, restaurants and transport
Great location. Walking distance to night life! Just wish they had air conditioning in the unit. It was way to hot when we stayed.
la pasamos muy bien, el entorno es muy agradable, esta limpio, el suitch general de la luz esta en un sotano en la casa vecina, hay complicaciones con el estacionamiento que se resuelven con dolares.
We got to the property early and dropped off our bags. We had to walk from the train station to the rental in a pouring rain, so we were glad it was only a couple of blocks. The space was very nice for Cap Hill. It was cozy, but we never felt cramped. We left for awhile and roamed while we waited for my daughter that lives in Seattle to get off work. When the three of us arrived back at the rental, there was a homeless guy sleeping at our doorstep. After trying to ask him nicely to leave we had to call the police. He saw we were serious and left before the cops answered. I did not feel threatened, but it was uncomfortable. I was a little on edge the rest of our stay because of this. We never saw him again, so it was OK. Be aware, in Cap Hill there are a lot of homeless people. The rental has very comfortable beds and linens. This is a full time rental, so you will not find any of the items you get accustomed to in a part time rental, such as spices, hot sauce, etc. It reminded me of what you get from a condo rental through RCI or Hilton. The rental is very walkable to Cap Hill restaurants and bars, and there is a bus stop across the street. One thing you need to know is if you run the dryer with anything else (heat, microwave, hair dryer, etc) you will trip the main circuit breaker and loose all power to the unit. Since it was raining our entire trip, we kept throwing wet jackets, etc in the dyer, tripping the breaker. The basement where the breaker box is located is creepy, especially with the homeless guys in the area. This really needs to be addressed. Overall, if the circuit breaker situation was fixed this would be a 5-star review.
Unfortunately, Seattle does have a large homeless population and there is not much we at Vacasa can do to avoid this. Calling the police was the best option. This unit does have a very sensitive electrical system. This is an old home that has been converted into several units and sometimes running too many large items at the same time can be too much for the old wiring. We are working with the owner to see if we are able to come up with a better solution to resolve this.
We had 4 people at this place (2 couples) and the 2 rooms were perfect for us to all stay together, but get our own space. The kitchen had everything to cook a breakfast and the location felt safe with lots of nearby eateries and places to grab a drink.
Not far from downtown. Lots of great places to eat or grab a drink near by
Great property in a fantastic location. Only a couple of blocks from light rail station and lots of bars/restaurants. Easy access to downtown via bus/train.
We really liked the location of the property and came to find and enjoy the local places. The walk to downtown was totally doable and enjoyable, as were the walks to a variety of other locations (once we kind of figured out the lay of the city). The condo was cute and comfortable, but needs to have the electrical fixed (outlets blown with a few hazards). Overall, we would definitely stay here again (once the electrical is fixed) as it was very comfortable, convenient and safe!
Be aware that the photos look much better than the actual property. The outside of the apartment looks worn and old and while the inside is updated, it's not as spacious as described. It does not sleep 6 comfortably. More like 4. And the walls are paper thin. You can hear everything that happens outside and above you. The location is super convenient though so if you only plan on sleeping here it might work.
The Emeral City, is the best city to visit what makes it better is finding a cozy, and warm place to rest your head.
Cute place, can't beat the price in that area!
Internet was super poor and outside of place isn't too nice.
Inside is nice and well cleaned. Great location and value if your looking for a place in Capitol Hill. It was a good place to crash, but the internet pretty much didn't work.
We apologize the internet was inconsistent during this stay. The Property Manager has contacted the internet service provider, and the internet is now working without any issues. Thank you!
This place was in a great location. Walking distance to many neat shops and restaurants, a quick uber ride down town. The place was perfect for two couples and the apartment complex was mostly quiet. We would definitely stay there again!
Clean and comfortable in a great location though not as sunny and bright as photos make it appear.
Wonderful location for walks to restaurants & fun shops.
The apartment was immaculately clean, with comfortable beds & nice decor. The living room had sofas that were great for relaxing, or enjoying conversation.
Parking can be challenging, but we found a space within a block each day we were in Seattle.
The place and Vacasa were great. The way we booked (through HomeAway) slapped us with an extra $40 fee that I must have missed on check out. Watch out if you book through HomeAway.
Great location within walking distance of lots of restaurants and bars, safe, quiet, nice apartment.
This property is great and is in a great location. It is close to the link station, several bus stops, and coffee shops, bars, and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.
We really enjoyed our stay in this newly remodeled location. Upon arrival at 4 pm the heat was not turned on and it took quite some time to warm up. There could have been more dishes so that when the dishwasher is run there are extra. The problem with the fuse box and the dryer needs to be addressed. Overall we were happy with our stay.
The owner is looking into purchasing a new dryer to address the problem with the fuse box. The heat at this home works very well; we apologize that it was not on for this guest's arrival.
I couldn't have had a better experience. Place was very clean, decorated well, great location, it was just perfect. It felt like "home". Highly recommend. Can't wait until my next stay with Vacasa.
Note: You can hear the neighbors upstairs pretty well if that bothers you.
