Revel in this beachfront condo and start your next Gulf vacation off on the right foot! This elegant retreat has everything you need and more to enjoy a carefree vacation. Wind down in the spacious and inviting living area as you watch your favorite shows on the TV, or put on the chef's apron and hat and treat your guests to delicious meals prepared in the well-equipped kitchen. The kitchen has been recently updated with brand new countertops and cabinets. Other upgrades include new faucets and bathroom countertops, and new flooring in the primary bedroom.
If you're tired after spending the day at the beach and would like to cool off, you can take a dip in one of the many pools available: the community outdoor pool, heated indoor pool, or children's pool if you happen to travel with kids! Soothe your muscles in the shared hot tub or work them out in the shared fitness room. Other amenities include basketball and tennis courts, a grilling area, a private boardwalk, and beach chair and umbrella rentals available for a seasonal fee.

If you're after endless entertainment and delicious dining, head for The Wharf. It features fishing and boating activities, one of the largest Ferris Wheels, a mini-golf course, arcades, and even a zipline course! You'll also find The Wharf Amphitheater, where some of the country's hottest bands also perform. Golfers, pack your clubs and hit the links at the nearby Craft Farms and Peninsula golf courses; both are 10 and 12 miles respectively. If you're into outdoor activities, the Gulf State Park is two miles from you and offers visitors two miles of powdery sands and the largest fishing pier on the Gulf of Mexico! There you can also find freshwater lakes where you can take a boat ride or glide along in a kayak, cycle and hike through scenic and memorable backcountry trails, and even enjoy an on-site restaurant.
THINGS TO KNOW
*Construction due to Hurricane Sally repairs is ongoing at the complex. The availability of amenities is subject to the repairs at the time. The elevators are also expecting repairs and may be unavailable intermittently.
Construction begins at 7 am and continues until 5:30 pm with heavy machinery and noise.
Building renovations are currently ongoing at Pelican Pointe and are scheduled to last through October. These renovations include concrete work and balcony railing replacement and involve worker activity, swing scaffolding, and periodic restricted balcony access. In addition, the outdoor pool is scheduled to be closed for the entire month of August.
Due to construction, parking at Pelican Pointe is currently limited to one vehicle per unit. Passes must be purchased on-site through the Security Guard at Pelican Pointe. Parking passes are $30/each (price may be higher for renters staying longer than 30 days) and can be paid via cash or check to the Security Guard. A guard will be available at the shack between the hours of 8 am until midnight during the busy season and 4 pm to midnight in the off season. Thank you!

Faucets in bathroom and kitchen drip constantly. Master bed is really bad. Has a foam mattress thrown over another mattress it slips to the side while you sleep has mattress cover apparently does not fit . It is wadding up under the foam not comfortable at all. Carpet in master is really dirty. We will not stay in this unit again. It does have a beautiful view of the ocean. Is very convenient to restaurants and grocery.

We are also happy to confirm the worn-out carpet has just been replaced with tile, which is much better for ocean air and sand. Additionally, the master bed now has a new mattress. The tile floors are super slick. My 2&1/2 year old fell twice as soon as we checked in. The air stopped working twice while we were staying here. The air also doesn’t circulate very well in to the master bedroom! Would love to see a keypad put on the door so you don’t have to tote a key around all week!
Now the good, the beds were super comfortable! The balcony is a 10/10 with all the furniture and views! Plenty of room at the table, living area and plenty of sleeping space!!

We enjoyed our stay at pelican pointe #804! I loved the amenities, especially the table and chairs on the balcony! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals which was so nice. There were plenty of blankets and pillows to keep us all cozy. Nice hot showers and great washer and dryer. The only complaint I had was that the unit said 2 free parking passes which we never found so we had to pay. Also, i wish the unit had keyless entry with a passcode so we don’t have to keep up with keys. Overall, we had a great stay and would come back again in a heartbeat. Thank you!!

We were with great friends and met more new friends. Appreciate owners sharing their condo with us and would have taken it again next year but wanted the couple who got us started coming there and couldn't this year have a crack at it. They got it and we will be looking for another. Condo could use some updating. Like the new table on balcony but for just the two of us we didn't use it. Could have used comfortable lounge chair or something. Also the rent is higher than at least four other condos who have had updates. Just saying. Again, we do appreciate that they are willing to share with us.
