This is a lovely home that accommodated or large group well. Great location, very clean upon arrival, and has two parking spots (helpful in the city!!). There was also some street parking available. While we would rent it again, there were a few minor concerns that dropped it from five stars to four (if I could give four and a half stars, I would!).
The kitchen needs some items. The house has four bedrooms and is listed for sleeping eight. We had eight guests. There were three coffee makers but only four coffee cups. We had to run over to Target (conveniently located very nearby) and purchase more coffee cups. Not enough mugs in the kitchen makes for some very grumpy people in the morning!!! Also, there was a garlic press and a bunch of other random items but not a paring knife or a serrated knife.
The main floor of the house has high ceilings. This makes for a dramatic appearance but... it gets loud. The space could use some rugs/curtains/cushions for sound baffling. Eight people eating dinner at the dining table was much louder than it should have been.
And, finally, the Vacasa response time to our issue was not... great. The fourth bedroom is located in a motherin-in-law apartment. There is both an entrance from the main floor of the house and a separate outdoor entrance. When we arrived, we could not get into this part of the house. It took a Vacasa rep about five hours to get back to me to let me know the code to the lockbox for this part of the house. We did get the code though and it ended up working out.
All in all, these things were relatively minor and did not impact our stay in any meaningful way.
Manager response:
Thank you for staying with us, Susan. We appreciate your feedback as a means to continually improve our homes and guest comfort. We apologize for the delay you experienced getting into the 4th bedroom and for any inconvenience it may have caused. More mugs are being added, and the lockbox situation has been updated. We hope that after customer service provided you with the lockbox code the remainder of your trip unfolded with ease. We hope to host you again.
