The condo itself is truly lovely—beautifully decorated, impeccably clean, and exactly as pictured. The furnishings are high-end and the beds were incredibly comfortable, which made our stay very relaxing.
I wasn’t able to give a full five stars simply because the location and parking presented a few challenges. We arrived after dark, and the roads leading through the golf course are not well lit, which made navigating a bit difficult. It’s also important to know that this unit sits at the very top of the mountain, and the last stretch of road is quite steep.
For families visiting for the Polar Express experience, one helpful note: the train uses Whittier as its “North Pole.” You’ll cross the train tracks on the way to the condo, and you’ll pass by the North Pole scene again when returning. Our kids noticed this right away, and it led to some tricky questions from our oldest—so just something to keep in mind.
Overall, the condo itself is wonderful, and the mountain views are gorgeous; just be aware of a few logistical considerations depending on your plans and the time you arrive.
