I loved the views from both living and bedroom area in unit 2109, ceiling to floor windows were amazing. Balcony nice size. The unit looked like the pictures with utensils, pots and pans if you wanted to cook. The unit was overall clean. Only issue was AC unit was not in english hard to navigate, called for assistance, was told someone would call but noone did. I was sweating, had to leave, returned and figured something out. Unit had two fans which came in handy.

Love Tidewater, have stayed several times. First time in this unit. Bed was very soft and comfortable. The air is controlled at 72, would have liked to be at 70 while sleeping as it got hot.

Tidewater is a 30 story complex with inadequate elevator service. We were told when we checked in that the wait time for elevators was very long. They were not lying. At least one elevator was down at any given time during our stay. Very frustrating.
Manager response:
Hello Vickie, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We apologize for the long wait times for the elevator. We only manage individual, privately owned homes within the building. The home owner's association for the building manages the elevators. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope we can host you again in the future.

Loved being on the beach and not having to drive to the beach or cross a road!

2109 was a nice unit and had everything you would want in a kitchen to cook with. They had a full size coffee pot which is a huge deal because Iam a big coffee drinker, and I normally have to bring my own full size pot. This unit also had fans, laundry baskets, hangers, and 3 t.v.'s . I loved the fact that there was a washer and dryer in the unit so no need to have to wash all the vacation clothes once you get back home. The view off our balcony was amazing. We had two sliding doors to the balcony one off the master suite and the other off the living room, those were the good things. Here is the bad, what we did not like about the building, terribly slow elevators, you can wait up to 45 min to get an elevator, you will have to split your family up just so everyone can get to where you need to go as a family. Everyone is trying to check in at 4 pm and elevators become even slower. The parking garage, you can not fit your car in with a cargo topper, so you have to unload your topper in front of the building and carry it to your room then park and walk across to the garage to unload your car, after you "check-out" a luggage cart. The parking garage elevators were super slow and they did not always work either. They do not supply you with enough toilet paper so you have to buy your own along with dryer sheets and laundry detergent and dish soap and garbage bags. Don't take a canopy unless you plan on having it not in front of the beach chairs they make you move it off to the side of the chairs. They do not make people pack up their beach stuff every night so if you want a good spot on the beach you have to be down there by 6:30 am to claim your spot. They had 3 pools and 2 hot tubs but only had one outdoor pool and one indoor pool you could use, the hot tubs did not work. We were paying for amenities and not being able to use all of them. The building was not at full capacity either. FYI, Room was great but do to the hassle we will not be back.
Manager response:
Our apologies that your experience in the home was not the pleasant and relaxing vacation we wish to facilitate for our guests. We are sorry for any miscommunications regarding the number of paper products provided in the unit prior to your arrival. We do provide starter packs of paper products and detergents, and anything required beyond this is the responsibility of the guests. We understand the frustration with the elevators, parking garage, and beach area. Regrettably, those areas are out of our control. We are sorry this experience had a negative impact on your stay, and we hope to have the chance to impress you in the future.

We as a family loved the Condo and the view most of all. Definitely did not want to leave!!!

We have loved Tidewater for many years but this year the upkeep was not up to par. One elevater was down the entire month and other elevators were down for extended times. The entry door to the east portion on the second floor was out of service for most of February and very hard to open. Our friends on the 30th floor had their ceiling cave in and water leaed in and it not repaired the rest of the month.
Security has improved, very polite and friendly and very visible.
I hope these problems were due to the turn over from Resort Quest to Vacasa and will improve. See you next year.
Manager response:
We appreciate you taking the time to tell us about your stay here and apologize you did not find your experience up to par. The issues you have mentioned in your review did not occur in any of our units, but we have forwarded this information over to the HOA. Elevators were closed for safety reasons as they were being repaired, as well as the second floor entry door, and this work will be wrapped up soon. Thank you!

The location beachside was amazing.

I loved staying at the Tidewater Beach Resort. Having a restaurant, indoor pool, indoor hot tubs, steam room, sauna, two outdoor pools as well as out door hot tubs, in addition to the beach was a major plus. I also enjoyed the tiki bar where you could order drinks and the convenience of having an on site store.

There were a couple of issues that did not allow me to rate as a 10.
Manager response:
We're very sorry for the inconvenience during your stay. This issue occurred under a previous management company. Our local teams are working with that company to learn from feedback and fix any issues. We just started managing this unit and would love for you to try staying with Vacasa in the future to experience our world-class service.
