The condo smells, the dryer doesn’t work, the tv in the living room has a vertical red line, only one roll of toilet paper, the elevators are broken, the pools are dirty, tiki bar and snack bar are rarely open....worst beach vacation ever!!! My family and I will never ever return!!!

I would not recommend staying at Shores of Panama nor going to Panama City Beach!
Manager response:
Thank you for your feedback, Crystal. We are so sorry your family did not have a better vacation. The owner is currently staying in the home and will address your concerns while they are there. We hope to have a chance to impress you in the future!

We enjoyed our stay at 908 Shores of Panama. The room has a great view and the parking spot is very convenient to the room.

Room was overall nice but was nasty not clean at all and the view was nice , microwave didn’t work, tv had red line running through middle where the screen was going out ! Outlets on the island in the kitchen did not work ! Bed was like sleeping on springs with a sheet over it ! And out of the 6 elevators in the building 1-2 worked all week so after a week we probably spend 6-8 hrs just waiting on a elevator , not to mention when 4-5 of your elevators aren’t working the whole COVID 19 safety precautions are absolutely gone , and they charge 160-260 dollars for cleaning fee when you book but yet they ask you to not only clean your dishes before leaving but also to do the laundry but they want you to pay a fee for them to clean it but really want you to do it and oh yeah you get the trash bag in your can when you arrive and the one roll of toilet paper per restroom after that you have to go to a local store to purchase your own . This place is honestly a joke for 250-350 a night I’d rather stay at my own home then here . I can 100% say that our family and the 3 rooms we booked equalling $3800 will most definitely never return to the Shores of Panama again .
Manager response:
We appreciate your review, Bryan. Maintenance has been scheduled to take care of the microwave, TV, and kitchen island outlets. Thank for staying with us!

I really loved the condo! The tall ceilings, the paint color, crown molding, & granite countertops really made this condo feel homey!
We arrived Wednesday night after the office was already closed so I had to go in on Thursday to get arm bands & my parking pass. I had previously called a number that was linked to the Shores of Panama app that I had downloaded on my to ask about parking since we had 2 cars & was told I could purchase an extra parking space. Whoever I spoke to apparently had the wrong information. When I told the girl at the concierges all of this she argued with me telling me I must have called the wrong number & now there wasn’t an app for Shores of Panama. I had to show her a pic of the app that was on my phone. All she said was “Oh, they must have just made one”
There was a strange smell coming from the bathroom where the bunk beds are that we noticed almost as soon as we arrived. We flushed the toilet & it seemed to go away. We then smelt it later on coming from the closet with the washer & dryer. The smell just seemed to come & go, so not too big of a deal & totally manageable.
The dryer seemed to be missing the part that catches the lint. It seemed to catch some of my children’s clothes in it. I looked for it but didn’t see it anywhere in the closet with the washer & dryer.
On the trip with me was my mom, husband, & our 7yr old & our 8 month old. Our baby is crawling & into everything! One of the 1st things I realized was there wasn’t any outlet covers. We went to Walmart & bought a pack of outlet covers almost immediately after arriving & put them in all of the outlets that were low to the ground so we didn’t have to worry about my son messing with them.
We checked in on Wednesday afternoon & by Friday the keypad stopped working. Something happened at the resort that caused the alarm to go off & after that the keypad never worked again. I went to the main lobby to ask them about it the girls at the front was very rude in informing me I had to call the people at Vecasa since that’s who I booked they. So I called the 1800# & was given a code to use the key box at the top of the door that luckily had a key. The woman I spoke to said they were going to have someone come out & fix it but no one showed up while we were there.
Overall the condo was wonderful & I'd love to stay there again if it was at a different resort. We weren’t at the resort a full 24hrs before one of the elevators went out. There seemed to be no rush in getting this fixed. We would have to stand there in an extremely long line to wait to get onto the 1 elevator which would usually pass right by our floor & go all the way up to the 23rd floor & come back down just to miss us again. My 65 yr old mother with a bad knee had to use the stairs several times just so we could get to places in a timely manner. Trying to tote a wagon or stroller up & down 9 flights of stairs with a baby was an absolute nightmare!

The 3 star review is more for Shores is Panama instead of the actual condo itself. The staff was rude & only having 1 elevator for half of the 23 story resort was completely unacceptable.

We loved the atmosphere. People were friendly. Fun place to stay.

Location was good but elevators suck so it takes forever to get up or down especially if you have beach stuff. Room was mostly clean but some of the sheets were stained and the dish washer was full of dirty dishes from the previous guests.
Manager response:
Hi, Danny! We appreciate your feedback and apologize the room was not as clean as it should have been. The property manager is working with our housekeeping staff to prevent this type of issue from happening in the future. We have also recently changed our laundry vendors for well. We appreciate guest patience as we work our way back towards full staffing and a sense of normalcy after the initial impact of COVID-19 so severely affected our industry. Please do not hesitate to reach out to our 24/7 call line for assistance. Thank you for staying with us!

Everything was great about the condo besides the elevators.. They took awhile to get to the ground or to the 9th floor. The pool was nice. I would stay there again.
