We had a lovely stay at Papakea. Loved the location - great views from the lanai and great walking distance to many amenities! The Kaanapali area of Maui is just perfect! We did have a couple hiccups during our stay - the resort didn't have the reservation from Vacasa so check-in was delayed, we didn't have sheets for the pull out sofa and kids ended up sleeping on top of a blanket the first night, wifi cut out one morning, and we were offered late checkout and then when we responded to the text to book it we were told it was no longer was available. Overall, we felt these were minor inconveniences compared to the overall experience. The resort was very nice and well maintained and we really enjoyed our vacation and would book at the same resort again!
